Ziwei Four Transformations (Si Hua) — Born Hour

In Ziwei Dou Shu, stars remain inert until animated by the Four Transformations (Si Hua): Hua Lu (Prosperity), Hua Quan (Authority), Hua Ke (Fame), and Hua Ji (Obstacle). They are the driving catalysts of celestial fate.

Essence of the Four Transformations

Each year stem prompts four specific major stars to transform. Hua Lu brings spring-like expansion and wealth; Hua Quan manifests summer-like drive and command; Hua Ke bestows autumn-like clarity and reputation; Hua Ji contracts into winter-like obsession and debt.

Transformations exist on multiple temporal tiers: Natal Si Hua (inborn tendencies), Decade Si Hua (10-year chapters), and Annual Si Hua (yearly events). When they overlay, significant life milestones occur.
