Autumnal Equinox — Born Hour

Autumnal Equinox: day and night equal again at 180° — balance point of You month.

Overview

Qiu Fen (秋分) is the autumn equinox Zhong Qi of You month — mirror of Chun Fen in the year's light cycle.

Pentads: 雷始收声、蛰虫坯户、水始涸. Many regions celebrate 中国农民丰收节 near this date.

Customs: 竖蛋 again, 秋祭月, eating 汤圆 in some south-China villages.

Balance imagery is cultural; pillars still follow month command and true solar time.

Culture Custom

Mid-Autumn Festival is lunar (15th of 8th lunar month) and does not always fall on Qiu Fen — two different clocks.

Three pentads: thunder ceases; insects seal doors; waters shrink.

Classical: equinox again — day and night equal.

Month command: You mid-point; balanced autumn climate.

Jie nodes can move the Month Pillar; Zhong Qi deepen the same month without switching branch.

Autumnal Equinox is a calendrical node and cultural festival, not a weather guarantee or personal luck verdict.
