Data we process

Birth date, time, and place are sensitive personal data processed solely for celestial time and traditional calendrical computations. Public pages never set cookies.

Note: unsaved charts may sit in encrypted-at-rest cache up to 24 hours, after which they are automatically purged.

An anonymous, secure cookie is issued only when you explicitly choose to save an active profile. Deleting a profile performs a permanent hard delete. You can export all saved data in standard JSON format at any time.

Payment data

When you buy a digital report or cultural guide, email and payment details are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Born Hour receives order status, a Paddle transaction ID, and a receipt email so we can unlock content and handle support. We do not store card numbers.

Children

We comply with children’s privacy standards (including COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13. Casting a chart for an infant or child does not create a child user account.

Analytics

Analytics use self-hosted, cookieless Umami. Query parameters are stripped automatically, and birth fields or coordinates are never logged or used for commercial profiling.
